i) Inception / Launch date

The Axis Credit Risk Fund was launched on 15 July, 2014, by Axis Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

Axis Credit Risk Fund is moderately risky and suitable for investors with a time horizon of 3 years and above.

iii) Redemption

Redemption of Units will be done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of a request at the authorised centre of Axis mutual fund.

iv) Fund Manager

Axis Credit Risk Fund is managed by Mr Devang Shah since inception of the fund. He comes with 12 years of experience working with Deutsche Asset Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Pricewaterhousecoopers.

v) Entry / Exit load

The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load for 10% of redemption within 12 months. However, it charges 1% exit load if the remaining investment is redeemed within one year from the date of allotment. There is no exit load if redeemed after a year of allotment.

Tax benefits of investing in Axis Credit Risk Fund

The Short-term capital gain tax will be levied as per the Income Tax Slab Rate if units are held for less than 36 months. A long-term capital gains tax of 20% is applicable with indexation if units are held for more than 36 months.
