BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund is an open ended hybrid fund aimed at investing in arbitrage opportunities for generating reasonable returns by predominantly investing in equity arbitrage opportunities in the cash and derivatives segments of the equity markets and by investing balance in debt and money market instruments.

Fund Information and Statistics of BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund
i) Inception/ Launch date
BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund was launched on December 28, 2016 BNP Paribas Mutual Fund AMC.
ii) Risk level
The fund has moderately high risk level since its investment is predominantly in arbitrage opportunities in the cash and derivatives segments of the equity markets; and debt and money market instruments.
Redemption of Units will be done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from date of receipt of request.
iv) Fund Manager
Mr. Karthikraj Lakshmanan and Mr. Mayank Prakash are the fund managers of the scheme.
v) Entry / Exit load
In respect of each purchase of Units – 0.25% if the Units are redeemed/ switched-out within 30 days of allotment. Beyond that there is no exit load.
Tax benefits of investing in the fund
The short-term capital gains made on sale of units within 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxed at the rate of 15%. The long term capital gains, over and above Rs 1 lakh, made on sale of units after 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxable at the rate of 10% (without indexation).
