About DHFL Pramerica Credit Risk Fund
DHFL Pramerica Credit Risk Fund is an open-ended debt scheme investing in AA and below rated corporate bonds. At least 65% of capital will be invested in the in AA and below rated corporate bonds, while 35% may be directed to government securities and money market instruments. However, the fund will not invest in AA+ rated corporate bonds. The fund aims to generate income and capital appreciation over medium to long term.

i) Inception / Launch date –
DHFL Pramerica Credit Risk Fund was launched on September 29, 2014, by DHFL Pramerica Mutual Fund.
ii) Risk level –
DHFL Pramerica Credit Risk Fund is a moderately risky bet and suitable for medium-term investments.
iii) Redemption –
Redemption is available on all business days at applicable NAV prices. The fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of redemption request from the Unitholder.
iv) Fund Manager –
The fund is managed by Mr Kumaresh Ramakrishnan for the last 7 years which includes the time when the scheme was under Deutsche Asset Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. (DB AMC). He is a BE & MBA and comes with over 20 years of experience.
v) Entry / Exit load -
The fund house does not charge any entry load. Exit load is not charged for redeeming up to 10% of the units. However, an exit load of 1% is charged if more than 10 percent units are redeemed before one year from the date of allotment. No exit load is charged after that.
Tax benefits of investing in DHFL Pramerica Credit Risk Fund
A Short-term capital gain tax will be levied on unitholders as per the income tax slab rate if units are held for less than 36 months. A long-term capital gains tax of 20% is applicable with indexation if units are held for more than 36 months. Dividend distribution tax will be deducted before distribution of the dividend.
