About Edelweiss Arbitrage Fund

Edelweiss Arbitrage Fund as the name suggests will invest in the arbitrage opportunities within derivatives market and in cash & derivative segment of equity. The remaining assets will be invested in debt & money market instruments. The scheme will not invest in Foreign Securities and ADRs/GDRs issued by Indian or foreign companies.

i) Inception/ Launch date

The Edelweiss Arbitrage Fund was launched on June 27, 2014, by Edelweiss Asset Management Limited.

ii) Risk level

Edelweiss Arbitrage Fund is a moderately low-risk bet and ideal for investors with lower risk appetite.

iii) Redemption

The redemption request can be made on any business day subject to the NAV price. Proceeds will be dispatched to you by the fund house within 10 working days from the receipt of the redemption request.

iv) Fund Manager

The fund is jointly managed by Mr Bhavesh Jain since inception and Mr Dhawal Dalal since December 22, 2016.

v) Entry / Exit load

The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load if redeemed after 30 days from the date of allotment. However, 0.25 % exit load is charged if redeemed before 30 days from the date of allotment.

Tax benefits of investing in Edelweiss Arbitrage Fund

The Short-term capital gain tax of 15% is levied if sold before one year from the date of allotment. Long-term capital gain, in excess of Rs 1 lakh, are taxed at 10% if sold after one year. Dividend distribution tax is applicable. 10% tax will be deducted at source for dividends.
