About ICICI Prudential Nifty Next 50 Index Fund

Being an open-ended scheme the objective of the fund is to invest in the companies, whose securities are included in the Nifty Next 50 Index. Though subject to tracking error, the scheme endeavor to achieve the returns of the above index as soon as possible. The fund keeps 5-10% as cash balance of the Net Asset to meet requirements like redemption and liquidity. The fund intends to track on the rest 90-95% of the Index. The fund intends to track upto 100% of the Index as an when the liquidity of the fund improves.

The redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of redemption request.

v) Entry / Exit load

The entry load for investing in this scheme is NIL. The exit load of 0.25% is applicable if the units are redeemed within 7 days from the date of allotment.

Tax benefits of investing in ICICI Prudential Nifty Next 50 index Fund

The following taxes are applicable to income arising from investing in this scheme: 1. Short-term capital gains are taxed at 15% 2. Long-term capital gains in excess of Rs. 1 lakh are taxed at 10% without indexation benefits.
