The IDFC Bond-Short Term Plan Fund was launched on 14 December 2000 by IDFC Mutual Fund.

The NAV of the units issued under the schemes may get impacted by various factors affecting the capital markets due to which it may go up or down. The rate of returns of the schemes is not assured. The securities of the mutual fund are subject to market risks and there is no such assurance that the objective of the scheme will be achieved.

Tax benefits of investing in IDFC Bond-Short Term Plan Fund
If the units are held for more than 36 months from the date of investment then it is subject to long term capital gains and are taxed at the rate of 20% with indexation. Units held for lesser period are subject to short term capital gains and are taxed as per the investor’s income slab.
