Inception/ Launch date
The Reliance Equity savings Fund was launched on 30 May 2015 by Reliance Mutual Fund.
Investment in this fund is subject to credit, price and interest rate risk. By changes in the market conditions due to various factors the NAV of the scheme may be affected. With investment in derivatives the NAV may also be subjected to moderately high risk.
The redemption of units can be done any business days. The redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of acceptance of the redemption.
Mr.Sanjay Parekh since May 2015, Ms. Anju Chhajer since May 2015 and Mr.Anand Devendra Gupta since September 2018 are the fund managers of Reliance Equity Savings.
Entry/ Exit Load
The entry load for investing in this fund is NIL. The 1% of the exit load is applicable for units in excess of 10% of the investment for redemption within 1 year. If redeemed after 12 months or 1 year the exit load is NIL.
Tax benefits of investing in Reliance Equity Savings Fund
The following taxes are applicable to income arising from investing in this scheme:
- Short-term capital gains are taxed at 15%
- Long-term capital gains in excess of Rs. 1 lakh are taxed at 10% without indexation benefits.
