Reliance ETF Nifty BeES is an open-ended index scheme that employs a passive approach to track the Nifty 50 Index. The scheme will invest in securities in the same proportion as their constitution on the Nifty 50 Index. The fund is aimed at providing long-term capital appreciation and investment in securities covered by Nifty 50.

At least 95% of the assets are invested in the securities, whereas only 5% may be invested in money market instruments. 3. i) Inception / Launch date

The Reliance ETF Nifty BeES was launched on December 28, 2001, by Reliance Mutual Funds.

ii) Risk level

Reliance ETF Nifty BeES is a moderately high-risk bet and suitable for investors with some knowledge of market trends seeking long-term capital appreciation.

iii) Redemption

The mutual fund units can be redeemed using the unitholders’ securities account. The units can be bought and sold directly on the exchange. The proceed will be dispatched within 10 working days.

iv) Fund Manager

The fund is managed by Vishal Jain since November 2018. He is a B. Sc and MBA with previous work experience at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as CIO and Benchmark Asset Management Company Ltd as CIO.

v) Entry / Exit load

The fund house does not charge any entry load and exit load.

Tax benefits of investing in Reliance ETF Nifty BeES

The Short-term capital gain tax of 15% is levied if sold before one year from the date of allotment. Long-term capital gains , in excess of Rs 1 lakh, are taxed at 10% without indexation if redeemed after one year. 10% tax will be deducted at source for dividends.
