Quantum Long Term Equity Value Fund is an open ended equity fund aimed at investing instruments related to equity, equity related instruments with aim to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing majorly in shares of companies that will typically be included in S&P BSE 200 index.

i) Inception/ Launch date
Quantum Long Term Equity Value Fund was launched on March 13, 2006 by Quantum Mutual Fund AMC.
ii) Risk level
Being an equity oriented fund, this fund is a moderately high risk bet and suitable for investors who have a long-term investment horizon of more than 5 years.
Redemption of Units will be done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of request.
iv) Fund Manager
Mr. Atul Kumar and Mr. Nilesh Shetty are the fund managers of the scheme.
v) Entry / Exit load
The fund house does not charge any entry load. The exit load is 1% if the units are redeemed within 545-730 days from the date of allotment in respect of purchase made other than through SIP. Also if redeemed within 12 months from the date of allotment of units of each instalment of SIP purchase, the same applies.
Tax benefits of investing in the fund
The short-term capital gains made on sale of units within 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxed at the rate of 15%. The long term capital gains, over and above Rs 1 lakh, made on sale of units after 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxable at the rate of 10% (without indexation).
