The Scheme is an open ended index exchange traded scheme which aims to provide returns which closely correspond to the returns of the securities as represented by Nifty Next 50 Index. The fund manager aims to minimize the scheme returns and the underlying index returns i.e. referred to as tracking error.

Reliance ETF Junior BeES offers following features:
- The Scheme employs a passive investment approach in order to track the performance of Nifty Next 50 Index.
- The Scheme achieves this goal by investing in securities constituting the Nifty Next 50 Index in same proportion as in the index.
- Being a star-rated fund in the category, it has a more than a decade long performance history. However, it was not able to beat the benchmark and category average across different time horizons.
Fund Information and Statistics of Reliance ETF Junior BeES
i) Inception / Launch date
The Scheme was launched on 21 February 2003 by the fund house.
ii) Risk level
Being an index scheme, the Scheme is a moderately high risk bet and suitable for investors who have a long-term investment horizon of more than 5 years.
The units can be bought/sold in National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) like any other securities and large investors can directly buy/sell units with the Fund house in creation unit size.
iv) Fund Manager
The Scheme is currently being managed by Mr. Vishal Jain who is managing the scheme since 6 November 2018. Prior to that, the scheme was being managed by Ms Payal Wadhwa Kaipunjal.
v) Entry / Exit load
There is no entry load or exit load charged by the fund house for subscriptions and redemptions, respectively in to the Scheme.
Tax benefits of investing in Reliance ETF Junior BeES
Long Term Capital Gains (“LTCG”), in excess of Rs 1 lakh, are taxed @ 10% without indexation if units are held for more than 12 months. Short term capital gains (“STCG”) are taxed @ 15% if units are held for less than 12 months. The investment in the scheme is also eligible for deduction under RGESS Qualified scheme if the investment was made before 1 April 2017.
