The Reliance Gold Savings Fund was launched on 7 March 2011 by Reliance Mutual Fund.

Risk Level

The scheme has a moderately high level of risk.. Upon the availability of distributable surplus of the scheme the dividend distribution depends. As the price or interest rates of the scheme fluctuate the investment value may go up and down. Due to various factors affecting the market there is a possible in loss of principal.

Redemption

On an ongoing basis the scheme offers redemption of units on all business days. As per SEBI Regulations the dispatch of redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of the redemption request.

Entry/ Exit Load

The entry- load is NIL for investing in this scheme. The exit-load 2% is applicable if the units are redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment of the units.

Tax benefits of investing in Reliance Gold Savings Fund

Long term capital gain tax of 20% (with indexation) is applicable if units are redeemed after 3 years. The short term capital gains applicable if redeemed before 3 years will be taxed as per tax slab of the investor.
