Nippon India Quant Fund is a combination of active management, scientific approach, expertise, and back test. The proprietary system-based model shortlists 30-35 S&P BSE 200 stocks on a quarterly basis. However, the fund does not guarantee to achieve the investment objective. The risk-adjusted returns have also been lower as compared to the category.

i) Inception/Launch Date Nippon India Quant Fund was launched on 18 April 2008.
ii) Risk Level The fund includes a high risk profile because it allocates funds in an actively managed portfolio of stocks selected based on a mathematical model. Investing in the fund can be beneficial to investors looking at long-term investments.
iii) Redemption You can redeem fund units at any time since there is no lock-in period. However, you may have to pay an exit load if you redeem within one month from the date of allotment.
iv) Fund Manager Mr Arun Sundaresan and Mr Ashutosh Bhargava are the current Fund Managers for Nippon India Quant Fund.
v) Entry/Exit Load As per SEBI’s circular, entry load is not chargeable effective from 1 August 2009. On the other hand, an exit load of 0.25% is charged if you redeem or switch out the units within a month from the date of allocation.
