About SBI Infrastructure Fund - Direct Plan - Growth
SBI Infrastructure Fund, as the name suggests, is an open-ended equity scheme that invests in infrastructure and allied sectors. The fund’s objective is to generate long-term capital growth through active management of investments. About 80% of the assets are invested in companies related to the infrastructure sector and the remaining share is invested in equities of companies from the other sectors and/or debt and money market instruments.

i) Inception/Launch Date
The fund scheme was rolled out on 6 July 2007.
ii) Risk Level
A high risk is associated with the fund scheme as it invests in equity securities of companies that are involved in the infrastructure growth of the Indian economy.
iii) Redemption
Since the principal invested is not locked-up for a period of time, you can redeem the fund units at any time based on your requirement. However, you need to consider the exit load before redeeming the units.
iv) Fund Manager
Ms Nidhi Chawla is the current Fund Manager for the fund.
v) Entry/Exit Load
While entry load is not applicable to the fund, an exit load of 1% is charged in the case of exit from the fund within a period of one year from the date of allotment. Upon completing one year, no exit load is chargeable.
