i) Inception/Launch Date SBI Magnum Children’s Benefit Fund was launched on 21 February 2002.

ii) Risk level The fund is suitable for investors with a moderately high-risk appetite. The fund invests up to 25% of the investment corpus in equity and equity-related instruments.

iii) Redemption SBI Magnum Children’s Benefit Fund is an open-ended fund, dedicated for children’s future, with a lock-in period of a minimum of five years or until the child attains the age of majority, whichever is earlier.

iv) Fund Manager Mr Rajeev Radhakrishnan is the current Fund Manager for SBI Magnum Children’s Benefit Fund.

v) Entry/Exit Load Though there is no entry load for purchasing the fund units, exit load exists based on the time of exit. If you exit within a year from the date of allotment, a 3% exit load will be levied. Exiting within two years will incur an exit load of 2% and exiting within three years will incur an exit load of 1%. In case you exit after completing three years from the date of allotment, no exit load is applicable.

SBI Mutual Fund company’s sponsor is the State Bank of India, and the trustee is SBI Mutual Fund Trustee Company Private Limited.
