SBI PSU Fund is an open-ended equity scheme that aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in a diversified mix of equity stocks of domestic public sector units (PSUs) and their subsidiaries and in debt and money market instruments of PSUs. The fund also offers liquidity options.

Fund Information and Statistics
i) Inception/Launch Date
The fund scheme was launched on 7 July 2010.
ii) Risk Level
The fund comes with high risk as it predominantly invests in equity stocks of domestic public sector undertakings and their subsidiaries.
iii) Redemption
No lock-in period is applied to the principal invested in the fund. However, you may have to consider exit load to calculate returns if you plan to redeem.
iv) Fund Manager
Mr Richard D'souza is the current Fund Manager for the fund scheme.
v) Entry/Exit Load
As per SEBI’s norm, entry load is not charged on the purchase of fund units. However, if you exit from the fund within one year from the date of allotment, an exit load of 1% will be charged. Upon completing one year, exit load will not be charged on redemption/switch out.

SBI Mutual Fund, one of the oldest mutual fund houses in India, registered with SEBI on 23 December 1993. The sponsor for the fund is State Bank of India. On the other hand, SBI Mutual Fund Trustee Company Private Limited is the trustee company for the fund house. The fund house offers about 141 folios as of 30 September 2020.
