i) Inception/ Launch date

The scheme was launched on 29 November 2013 by Shriram Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

Since the scheme invests majorly in equity and equity-related instruments, the invested amount carries a moderately-high risk.

iii) Redemption

The Mutual Fund dispatches the redemption proceeds within 10 business days of receiving the request.

iv) Fund Manager

Mr. Kartik Soral and Ms. Gargi Bhattacharyya Banerjee are the Fund Managers of Shriram Hybrid Equity Fund since November 30, 2017.

v) Entry / Exit load

There is no entry load in this scheme. If the investor redeems more than 12 percent of the units held by him within 365 days from the date of allotment, then 1% of the NAV is charged as the exit load.

Tax benefits of investing in Shriram Hybrid Equity Fund

STCG tax of 15 percent for short-term capital gains. Long-term capital gains exceeding Rs. 1 lakh shall be taxed at the rate of 10% without allowing the benefit of any indexation. Dividends are tax-free in the hands of the investor (the Mutual Fund deducts 10 percent DDT before distributing the dividend).
