Inception/ Launch Date

The Union Asset Allocation Fund was launched on 25 June 2012, by Union Mutual Fund.

Risk Level

The scheme is not a guaranteed or assured return scheme and has a moderately high level of risk. The units of the scheme involve risks such as settlement risk, liquidity risk, trading volumes including the possible loss of principal. The value of the scheme may go up and down depending on the factors affecting the capital markets.


The dispatch of redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of the redemption request from the unit holder. The redemption of units can be done on all business days on NAV based prices.

Mr.Parijat Agarwal since June 2012 and Mr.Vinay Paharia since April 2018 are the fund managers of Union Asset Allocation Fund.

Entry/ Exit Load

The entry load is NIL for this investment. The exit load of 0.50% is applicable if units are redeemed within 6 months from the date of allotment of the units.

The short term capital gains are taxed according to the investor’s income slab. The long term capital gains is taxed at the rate of 20% after indexation.
