The Union Equity Fund was launched on 10 June 2011 by Union Mutual Fund.

The scheme carries a moderately high level of risk. The units of this fund involves in investment risks including possible loss of the capital. The investment of this fund in equity and equity related securities is associated with the risks such as debt and money market securities, derivatives, securities lending and short selling.

Redemption

The dispatch of redemption proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of redemption request from the unit holder. The redemption of units can be done on any business days at NAV based prices.

Entry/ Exit Load

The entry load is NIL for investing in this scheme. The exit load of 1% is applicable if units are redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment of units.

Long term capital gains in excess of Rs 1 lakh are taxed at the rate of 10% without the benefit of indexation. The short term capital gains are taxed at the rate of 15%.
