Vendor onboarding and KYC is a part of Clear Supply Chain Cloud and is designed to automate the vendor onboarding process for companies. Traditionally, this process involved requesting vendor details via email and manually verifying the provided documents, followed by inputting the details into the ERP system.

With the Clear Vendor Management module, the buyer can streamline this process by sending a customised form to the vendor through the product. The vendor fills out the form, and the system verifies the data in real-time. Post this, the buyer can review the vendor details. Additionally, the product facilitates re-KYC processes, allowing the buyer to re-verify the compliance status of the vendor details, as per a configurable schedule. 

As vendors initiate the form-filling process and upload documents, the system checks compliance details in real-time. After submitting the form, the buyer has an opportunity to review the details before final approval, ensuring a thorough assessment before extending an invitation to create a vendor.

Yes. Using the continuous compliance/re-KYC feature on the Clear Vendor Portal, the buyer can set up the product to run a periodic compliance check, which updates the latest status of the vendors on the Clear Supply Chain Cloud.

Clear Supply Chain Cloud integrates with your ERP, and vendor onboarding is a part of it. Through this integration, Clear Supply Chain Cloud can keep your Vendor Master updated with compliance requirements and periodic KYC checks. Linking any other external applications (apart from the ERP) is not supported by Clear Supply Chain Cloud. 

Companies which are using the Supply Chain Suite can invite their vendors into the portal. For the vendors, once invited via email, they can create an account on the Clear Vendor Portal. They can use this account for accessing the portal.

Yes, viewing and tracking orders is a primary feature of the portal. Only vendors who have on-boarded onto the Clear Vendor Portal  and have completed their connection request with the customer can use this feature.

Vendors can share invoices, credits notes, and other attachments into the portal. These documents will be visible to the buyer for validations, approvals, and payments. Documents can be uploaded individually or they can be linked to the purchase order received.

Clear Supply Chain does not support making payments through the product, but still provides significant benefits to facilitate faster payments by way of-

• Reduction in manual errors and mistakes
• Streamlining communication with suppliers

These benefits contribute to making vendor payments more efficiently and in a timely manner.
