It will also invest in fixed income securities such as debt & money market instruments. The scheme strives to deliver long-term capital appreciation and regular income distribution. The maximum investment in debts & money market instruments would be 35%.

i) Inception / Launch date -
The BOI AXA Mid & Small Cap Equity & Debt Fund was launched on July 20, 2016, by BOI AXA Mutual Fund.
ii) Risk level –
Investment in this fund is a moderately high-risk bet but can be considered less risky than similar equity-only funds.
iii) Redemption –
Redemption of Units will be done at applicable NAV prices on every business day. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days.
iv) Fund Manager –
The fund is jointly managed by Alok Singh since February 16, 2017, and Ajay Khandelwal since December 1, 2017.
v) Entry / Exit load -
The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load if redeemed after one year from the date of allotment. However, 1% exit load will be charged if redeemed within a year.
Tax benefits of investing in BOI AXA Mid & Small Cap Equity & Debt Fund
The Short-term capital gain tax of 15% is levied if sold before one year from the date of allotment. Long-term capital gains, in excess of Rs 1 Lakh, will be taxed at 10% without indexation if redeemed after one year.
