Fund Information and Statistics of DHFL Pramerica Large Cap Fund
i) Inception / Launch date
The Scheme was launched by DHFL Pramerica Mutual Fund on 21 January 2003. The Scheme is benchmarked against Nifty 50 Index.
ii) Risk level
The investment in the scheme is moderately high risk proposition and suitable for investors looking for capital appreciation over long term.
iii) Redemption
The Scheme offers units for purchase and redemption at NAV based prices on all business days. Redemption proceeds are normally despatched within 10 business days from the date of the redemption request.
iv) Fund Manager
The Scheme is currently being managed by Mr. Alok Agarwal who is managing the scheme since July 2017.
v) Entry / Exit load
10% of the units can be redeemed/switched out without an exit load from the date of the allotment. Exit load of 1% is payable if units are redeemed/switched out within 1 year from date of allotment in excess of 10% of units. No exit load is charged by the fund house if redeemed/switched out after 1 year from the date of allotment. No entry load is charged by the fund house.
Tax benefits of investing in DHFL Pramerica Large Cap Fund
Long term capital gains are taxed at the rate of 20% after indexation (if held for 36 months or more). Short term gains are added to income and subject to short term capital gain tax as per income tax slab under the Act. Thus, holding for more than 3 years recommended availing tax benefits.
About DHFL Mutual Fund
DHFL Pramerica Mutual Fund is a 50:50 joint venture between DHFL and Pramerica Financial, Inc. The fund house is a full service asset management entity, covering equity, debt and hybrid schemes. The fund house launched mutual fund business in 2010 and currently headquartered in Mumbai. Mr. Rajesh Iyer is the CEO of the fund house.
