Essel 3 in 1 Fund is an open-ended fund which as the name suggests invests in 3 different asset classes - debt, gold, and equity. The fund will invest in equity and equity-related instruments (at least 65%), Gold ETFs of other mutual funds and gold-related fund (10%), and debt & money market instruments (10%). The scheme aims to provide long-term capital appreciation.

i) Inception / Launch date –

Essel 3 in 1 Fund was launched on April 05, 2011, by Essel Finance.

ii) Risk level –

Investment in this fund are moderately risky bets and suitable for long-term investment horizon.

iii) Redemption –

The scheme will offer units for purchase and redemption at applicable NAV prices. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days.

iv) Fund Manager –

The fund is jointly managed by Mr Killol P Pandya since September 18, 2015, and Mr Viral Berawala since April 02, 2018.

v) Entry / Exit load -

The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load for investing in the scheme.

Tax benefits of investing in Essel 3 in 1 Fund

A Short-term capital gain tax is applicable as per the income tax slab if sold before 36 months. If the investments are redeemed after 36 months, a long-term capital gain tax of 20% with indexation is levied.
