The IDBI Equity Savings Fund was launched on 25 June 2010 by IDBI Mutual Fund.

There is no assurance that the objective of the scheme will be achieved. The investment of this fund is subject to market risk such as liquidity risk, trading volume, settlement risk including the possible loss of principal. The value of the units may go up and down with the fluctuation of interest rates of the securities.


The dispatch of redemption of units proceeds within 10 business days from the receipt of the redemption request of the unit holder.

Fund Manager

Mr.Raju Sharma since May 2017 and Mr.Uma Venkatraman since September 2017 are the fund managers of IDBI Equity Savings Fund.

Entry/ Exit Load

The entry load is NIL and the exit load is 1% if the units are redeemed within 12 months from the date of allotment of the units.

Tax benefits of investing in IDBI Equity Savings Fund

Tax on dividend is NIL. If the units are held for more than 3 years a long term capital gains tax at 20% with indexation is applicable. If units are held for less than 3 years a short term capital gains tax is applicable to investors as per their income slab.
