About IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund
Being an open-ended hybrid fund, it invests in a portfolio comprising of equity related securities, debt and money market instruments. The scheme aims to create wealth for the investors along with generation of regular income in the medium term horizon.

Fund Information and Statistics of IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund
i) Inception / Launch date
Previously known as IDBI Prudence Fund, it was recategorised as IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund on 28 October 2016 by IDBI Mutual Fund.
ii) Risk level
Being an aggressive hybrid fund, IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund is a moderately high risk bet. Investors having a medium to long-term investment horizon of 3 to 5 years and more may think of investing in this fund.
The minimum amount of redemption allowed is Rs. 1000. Redemption of Units will be done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from date of receipt of request.
iv) Fund Manager
Mrs. Uma Venkatraman, having 15 years of experience in the financial services domain, has been managing the equity portion of IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund since July 2018. Mr Raju Sharma has been managing the debt portion of the fund since May 2017.
v) Entry / Exit load
The fund house does not charge any entry load for investing in IDBI Hybrid Equity Fund. However, the scheme charges an exit load of 1% for redemption of units within 365 days from the date of allotment.
Tax benefits of investing in IDBI Long Term Value Fund
The short-term capital gains made on sale of units within 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxed at the rate of 15%. The long term capital gains, over and above Rs 1 lakh, made on sale of units after 1 year from the date of allotment will be taxable at the rate of 10% (without indexation).
