About Mahindra Liquid Fund

Mahindra Liquid Fund is an open-ended scheme aimed at delivering reasonable returns by investing in money market and debt instruments. The scheme enables returns at lower risks and with higher liquidity. The fund invests in Commercial Papers, Certificate of Deposits, CBLO/ Repos and in short-term debt instruments of corporates and NBFCs, with maturity not more than 91 days.

Being a liquid fund that invests in debts and money market instruments, the risk level with Mahindra liquid fund is low. It is suitable for investors with an investment horizon of up to 90 days.

iii) Redemption

The units can be redeemed on any business day based on the NAV prices. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days.

iv) Fund Manager

The fund is managed by Mr Rahul Pal since the inception of the scheme.

v) Entry / Exit load

The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load for investment in Mahindra liquid fund.

Tax benefits of investing in Mahindra Liquid Fund

The Short-term capital gain tax will be levied on unitholders as per the income tax slab rate if units are held for less than 36 months. A long-term capital gains tax of 20% is applicable with indexation if units are held for more than 36 months. Dividend Distribution Tax on Grossed up value of Dividend is 25% plus additional taxes as applicable.
