About UTI Liquid Cash Plan
UTI Liquid Cash Plan, an overnight and liquid fund, endeavours to achieve the goal of steady and reasonable income by allocating funds in high-quality low-risk portfolios. It allocated funds in those instruments with a maturity of less than 91 days to reduce the probability of capital loss and volatility.
Pros and Cons of UTI Liquid Cash Plan
You can stay invested in a UTI Liquid Cash Plan for short-term, even if it is for only one day, as the fund offers high liquidity. The scheme has a well-diversified portfolio; the past one-year, three-year, and five-year returns that are higher than the category average returns. However, the asset under management (AUM) for the fund has crossed Rs.20,000 crore. Therefore, the returns tend to go low after the AUM crosses the benchmark.
