As per the latest Salary Budget Planning Report by WTW, the salary increase in India is projected at 9.5% in 2025, similar to the actual salary increase in 2024 of 9.5%. 

According to Glassdoor data, the average base pay in India in 2024 stood at approximately Rs. 9,45,489 per year. In the Union Budget of 2024, the Union Minister of India announced a 50% increase in the average real income of Indians compared to the previous year. This significant rise in average real income is reflective of the prevailing average salary levels in India.
