About Axis Regular Saver Fund
The Axis Regular Saver Fund is an open-ended, conservative hybrid scheme which seeks to generate regular income through investments in money-market and debt instruments. It also seeks to generate some amount of capital appreciation through limited exposure to equity and equity-related instruments.

i) Inception/ Launch date
The scheme was launched on 16 July 2010 by Axis Mutual Fund.
ii) Risk level
This scheme is suitable for investors seeking capital appreciation while generating income over a medium to long-term. The scheme has a moderately-high risk level.
The AMC dispatches the redemption proceeds to the unitholder within 10 days of receiving the request. Further, the minimum of Rs. 1,000 or 100 units or the account balance is considered as the minimum redemption request. If the investor specifies the number of units and the amount, then the number of units is taken into consideration. In the case of units held in the demat mode, the unitholder can also request for the redemption of fractional units.
iv) Fund Manager
Mr. Devang Shah (since June 07, 2016) and Mr. Ashish Naik (since June 22, 2016) are the Fund Managers of Axis Regular Saver Fund.
v) Entry / Exit load
There is no entry load in this scheme. The exit load conditions are as follows: 1. With effect from June 15, 2015, if the investor redeems the units after 12 months from the date of allotment of the units, then there is no exit load. 2. If he redeems within 12 months from the date of allotment of the said units, then Up to ten percent of his investment can be redeemed without any exit load For the remaining investment, he needs to bear an exit load of 1%.
Tax benefits of investing in Axis Regular Saver Fund
The following taxes are applicable to income arising from investing in this scheme: 1. STCG, upon redeeming before 36 months, is added to the investor’s income and taxed as per the income-tax slab. 2. LTCG component, upon redeeming after 36 months, is taxed at 20% after indexation.
