Edelweiss Dynamic Bond Fund as the name suggests is the dynamic bond investing in debt and money market instrument across durations. The scheme may also invest up to 50% capital in securitised debts excluding foreign securitised debts and up to 50% in derivatives. The fund strives to generate optimal returns over medium to long term.

i) Inception / Launch date –

Edelweiss Dynamic Bond Fund was launched on June 25, 2008, by Edelweiss Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level –

Edelweiss Dynamic Bond Fund is a moderate risk bet and suitable for returns at medium-term investment horizon.

iii) Redemption –

The Scheme will offer units for purchase and redemption at applicable NAV prices. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 3 business days.

iv) Fund Manager –

The fund is jointly managed by Mr Dhawal Dalal since November 2016 and Mr Gautam Kaul since December 2017. They have work experience of 32 years between them.

v) Entry / Exit load -

The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load.

Tax benefits of investing in Edelweiss Dynamic Bond Fund

A Short-term capital gain tax will be levied on unitholders as per the income tax slab rate if units are held for less than 36 months. A long-term capital gains tax of 20% is applicable with indexation if units are held for more than 36 months. Dividend distribution tax will be deducted before distribution of the dividend.
