i) Inception / Launch date

The ICICI Prudential Regular Savings Fund was launched on 30 March 2004 by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

Because of the equity component the scheme has moderately high risk. The return may be lower if the market falls and the equity component performs poorly. The long term performance of this fund cannot be analyzed.

iii) Redemption

Redemption of the units or funds can be done within 10 business days from the receipt of redemption request.

iv) Fund Manager

Mr. Manish Banthia since 2013 and Mr. Rajat Chandak since 2015 are the fund managers of ICICI Prudential Regular Savings Fund.

v) Entry / Exit load

The entry load for investing in this scheme is NIL. If the units are redeemed within 1 year in excess of 10% of the investment, exit load of 1% will be applicable from the date of allotment. After 1 year from the date of allotment the exit load is NIL.

  2. In case of long term capital gains, the LTCG tax of 20% applies with indexation. The dividends are tax free but the fund house deducts a tax before paying it to the investors.
