About ICICI Prudential Income Plan

The ICICI Prudential Income Plan is an open-ended debt scheme. It seeks to provide long-term wealth creation by investing in a portfolio of debt securities and money market instruments while endeavoring to maintain an optimum balance between safety, yield, and liquidity. Further, it ensures that the Macaulay Duration of the portfolio is greater than 7 years. It was renamed as ICICI Prudential Long Term Bond Fund on May 28, 2018.

The scheme was launched on 09 July 1998 by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

iii) Redemption

The minimum redemption amount is Rs. 500. Further, the redemption proceeds are dispatched within 10 business days of the receipt of a valid redemption request.

Mr. Manish Banthia (since September 2013) is the Fund Manager of the ICICI Prudential Income Plan.

v) Entry / Exit load

There is no entry load or exit load in this scheme.

Tax benefits of investing in ICICI Prudential Income Plan

The following taxes are applicable to income arising from investing in this scheme: 1. STCG from the debt component is added to the investor’s income and taxed as per the income-tax slab. 2. LTCG component is taxed at 20% with indexation benefits.
