About ICICI Prudential Asset Allocator Fund
ICICI Prudential Asset Allocator Fund is an open-ended fund of fund scheme investing in a mix of equity, debt, and Gold ETFs. The scheme may invest all the capital in equity-oriented schemes or debt-oriented schemes based on the market conditions. However, it will invest only up to 50% capital in gold ETFs and up to 5% in debt and money market instruments. The fund strives to deliver long-term wealth creation. The fund was formerly known as ICICI Prudential Advisor Series – Conservative Fund.

Inception / Launch date
The ICICI Prudential Asset Allocator Fund was launched on December 18, 2003, by ICICI Prudential AMC.
This scheme is a moderately high-risk bet and is suitable for wealth creation over a long-term investment horizon.
The units can be redeemed on any business day based on the NAV prices. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days.
The fund is managed by jointly managed by Mr Manish Banthia since June 2017, Mr Dharmesh Kakkad since May 2018, and Mr Sankaran Naren since September 2018.
Entry / Exit load
The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load if redeemed after a year of allotment. However, a 1% exit load is charged if redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment.
Tax benefits of investing in ICICI Prudential Asset Allocator Fund
- The Short-term capital gain tax according to the income tax slab of the investor would be applicable if sold before 36 months.
- If the units are sold after 36 months, a long-term capital gain tax of 20% with indexation is levied.
