i) Inception / Launch date

ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund was launched on April 2008 by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

Risk investing in this fund is moderately high as investing in large-cap stocks are more safe than small stocks. Being an open-ended fund there is a possibility of loss of the principal amount invested.

iii) Redemption

The units of the unit holders can be redeemed as of the date of receipt of the redemption request and the transaction will be processed as per the Net Asset Value. Within a maximum of 10 business days the redemption payment is released.

iv) Fund Manager

Mr. Rajat Chandak and Mr. Anish Tawakley are fund managers of ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund.

v) Entry / Exit load

The entry load is not applicable in this scheme. Exit load of 1% of NAV is applicable upto 1 year of allotment, more than 1 year is not applicable.

Tax benefits of investing in ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund

Long Term Capital Gains (“LTCG”), in excess of Rs 1 lakh, are taxed @ 10% without indexation if units are held for more than 12 months. Short term capital gains (“STCG”) are taxed @ 15% if units are held for less than 12 months. Investors do not pay any tax on dividends received but a Dividend Distribution Tax (“DDT”) is deducted by the fund house at source.
