i) Inception / Launch date

The L&T Equity Fund was launched on May 16, 2005, L&T financial services.

ii) Risk level

L&T Equity Fund is a moderately high-risk bet and suitable for investors who want capital appreciation by exposing their investments to equities across different market caps and sectors.

iii) Redemption

Redemption of Units will be done at applicable NAV prices on every business day. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 3 business days.

iv) Fund Manager

L&T Equity Fund jointly managed by Mr S.N. Lahiri since November 24, 2012, and Mr Karan Desai since February 2, 2017. The latter is in-charge of investments in foreign securities.

v) Entry / Exit load

The fund house does not charge any entry load, but charges 1% exit load if redeemed before one year from the date of allotment. There is no exit load if redeemed after one year.

Tax benefits of investing in L&T Equity Fund

The Short-term capital gain tax of 15% is levied if sold before one year from the date of allotment. Long-term capital gains, in excess of Rs 1 lakh, will be taxed at 10% without indexation if redeemed after one year.
