About Mirae Asset Short Term Fund
The Mirae Asset Short Term Fund is an open-ended, short-term debt scheme. It seeks to provide returns over the short-term by investing in instruments in such a manner that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 1 and 3 years. Primarily, the scheme invests in actively managed diversified portfolio of debt and money market instruments which include Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs).

The NFO of the scheme was launched on 09 March 2018 by Mirae Asset Mutual Fund.
ii) Risk Level
The scheme is suitable for investors seeking optimal returns over a short-term investment horizon and primarily invests in an actively managed diversified portfolio of debt and money market instruments which include REITs and InvITs. It has a moderately-low risk level.
The investor can redeem any amount or any number of units. The Mutual Fund will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 10 business days of the receipt of a valid redemption request at the official points of acceptance.

Mr. Mahendra Kumar Jajoo is the Fund Manager of the Mirae Asset Short Term Fund.
v) Entry / Exit Load
There is no entry load in this scheme.
The exit load structure is as follows:
- There is no exit load for redemptions of units made after one month (30 days) from the date of allotment of the said units.
- For the units redeemed within one month (30 days) from the date of allotment of the units, the exit load is 0.25% of the NAV.
Tax benefits of investing in Mirae Asset Short Term Fund
The following taxes are applicable to income arising from investing in this scheme: 1. STCG from the debt component is added to the investor’s income and taxed as per the income-tax slab. 2. LTCG component is taxed at 20% with indexation benefits.
