The Scheme is an open-ended equity scheme predominantly investing in stocks of top 100 entities by full market capitalization. Large cap securities tend to provide stability and liquidity to the scheme. The Scheme is fifth biggest fund in large cap category in terms of asset under management.

- In terms of trailing CAGR returns, the scheme has outperformed the category average and benchmark in 5 and 10 year horizon however the scheme has underperformed in 1 year and 3 year horizon.

Fund Information and Statistics of Reliance Large Cap Fund
i) Inception / Launch date
The Scheme was launched on 8 August 2007. The Scheme was formerly known as Reliance Top 200 Fund and the name change was effective from 28 April 2018.
ii) Risk level
The scheme is a moderately high risk bet and suitable for investors looking for capital growth over long term. The performance has been inconsistent over short term and thus recommended for 5-7 year horizon for investment opportunities.
Redemption of Units is done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Under normal circumstances, the fund house dispatches the redemption proceeds within 10 business days from date of receipt of valid request in line with SEBI guidelines.
iv) Fund Manager
The Scheme is currently being managed by Mr. Sailesh Raj Bhan who is managing the scheme since inception.
v) Entry / Exit load
10% of units allotted can be redeemed without any exit load on or before completion of 12 months from the date of allotment of units. Any redemption in excess of 10% in the first 12 months from the date of allotment is subject to exit load of 1%. No exit load is charged by the fund house post completion of 12 months. No entry load is charged by the fund house on subscription of units.
Tax benefits of investing in Reliance Large Cap Fund
The short-term capital gains made on sale of units within 1 year from the date of allotment is taxed at the rate of 15%. The long term capital gains, over and above Rs 1 lakh, made on sale of units after 1 year from the date of allotment is tax at concessional rate of 10% (without indexation).
