About Reliance Small Cap Fund

The primary objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of small cap companies and the secondary objective is to generate consistent returns by investing in debt and money market securities. The Scheme is available under Growth and Dividend (both pay-out and reinvestment) plan. The top 3 underlying investments are, West Coast Paper Mills, VIP Industries and Deepak Nitrite. The upper limit through SIP investment is Rs 1 lakh and the Fund has closed subscriptions for lump sum investment since 26 March.

i) Inception / Launch date

The Scheme is an open-ended equity scheme which was launched on 16 September 2010. The Scheme is benchmarked against S&P BSE Small Cap Index.

ii) Risk level

a. The riskometer of the Scheme is “Moderately High” and suitable for investors who are seeking: b. Long term capital growth; c. Investment in equity and equity related securities of small cap companies;

iii) Redemption

Redemption proceeds are generally dispatched within 10 business days from the date of receipt of request.

iv) Fund Manager

The Scheme is managed by Mr. Samir Rachh and Mr. Dhrumil Shah. Mr Rachh is managing the Scheme since January 2017. Mr Shah is managing the Scheme since February 2018. His qualification is C.A., B. Com and possesses over 11 years of experience in equity research and investments.

v) Entry / Exit load

a. Load structure of the Scheme is as follows: b. Entry Load-NIL c. Exit Load-1% if redeemed before 12 months; beyond 12 months - Nil
