i) Inception / Launch date

Reliance Value Fund was launched on 08 June 2005 by Reliance Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

Investors investing in the Reliance Value Fund need to understand that their principal will be at a moderately-high risk. As on December 28, 2018, 97.56% assets were allocated to equity of which around 55% were in Giant and Large-Cap stocks.

iii) Redemption

The Mutual Fund dispatches the redemption proceeds within 10 business days of receiving the request.

iv) Fund Manager

Ms. Meenakshi Dawar is the Fund Manager of Reliance Value Fund. Also, the scheme was earlier known as Reliance Regular Savings Fund - Equity Option.

v) Entry / Exit load

There is no entry load in this scheme. If you redeem your units or switch out on or before the completion of one year from the date of the allotment of units, then you have to bear an exit load of 1 percent. After the completion of one year, the entry load is nil.

Tax benefits of investing in Reliance Value Fund

For withdrawals done within one year, STCG tax of 15 percent is levied. In case of long-term capital gains (LTCG), if the amount of gain is up to one lakh rupees, then no tax is applicable. All LTCG gains above one lakh are taxed at ten percent (without indexation). Also, all dividends are paid post the deduction of ten percent dividend distribution tax.
