i) Inception / Launch date

The launch date of Reliance Vision was 8th October 1995 by Reliance Mutual Fund.

ii) Risk level

There is no assurance or guarantee that the objectives of the scheme will be achieved as the investments are subject to market risk. The NAV units can go up or down depending on the factors affecting the capital markets. The scheme has a moderately high risk.

iii) Redemption

The redemption proceeds within g 10 working days of receiving redemption request as per SEBI regulations. Under normal circumstances the fund endeavor to dispatch the redemption cheque within 3-4 working days from the date of receipt of redemption request.

iv) Fund Manager

Mr.Ashwani Kumar is the fund manager of Reliance Vision Fund since 2003.

v) Entry / Exit load

The exit load of investing in this scheme is not applicable. The exit load of 1% is applicable if redeemed on or before completion of 1 year from the date of allotments of units. If redeemed after 1year the exit load is Nil.

Tax benefits of investing in Reliance Vision Fund

Long Term Capital Gains (“LTCG”), in excess of Rs 1 lakh, are taxed @ 10% without indexation if units held for more than 12 months. Short term capital gains (“STCG”) taxed @15% if units are held for less than 12 months. Investors do not pay any tax on dividends received but a Dividend Distribution Tax (“DDT”) is deducted by the fund house at source.
