The scheme invests assets in stocks comprising the Nifty 50 Index in the same proportion as their weightage in the index. The aim of the scheme is to generate returns that are equivalent to the Total Returns Index of the Nifty 50 Index and to reduce the performance difference between the benchmark index and the scheme.

i) Inception/Launch Date

The scheme was launched on 17 January 2002.

ii) Risk Level

The scheme comes with a moderately high risk as the assets are passively invested in stocks comprising the Nifty 50 Index.

iii) Redemption

There is no lock-in period for the principal invested. Consider the exit load before redeeming the fund units.

iv) Fund Manager

Mr Raviprakash Sharma is the current Fund Manager for the fund.

v) Entry/Exit Load

Though there is no entry load for this fund, an exit load of 0.20% will be charged if you exit from the scheme within 15 days from the date of allotment. From the 15th day onwards, no exit load is chargeable.
