About L&T Hybrid Equity Fund
L&T Hybrid Equity Fund is an open-ended scheme which invests in equity and equity-related instruments. Investments will also be made in debt and money market instruments. The target is to generate reasonable returns and long-term capital appreciation. A maximum of 75 % will be invested in equities, whereas a maximum of 35% will be invested in debt & money market instruments. The fund was previously known as L&T India Prudence Fund.

i) Inception / Launch date
The L&T Hybrid Equity Fund was launched on February 07, 2011, L&T financial services.
ii) Risk level
L&T Hybrid Equity Fund is a moderately high-risk bet and suitable for investors who want and reasonable long-term capital appreciation by exposing their investments to both aggressive and defensive instruments.
Redemption of Units will be done at applicable NAV prices on every business day. Under normal circumstances, your fund house will dispatch the redemption proceeds within 3 business days.
iv) Fund Manager
L&T Hybrid Equity Fund is jointly managed by Mr S.N. Lahiri since November 24, 2012, Mr Shriram Ramanathan since May 30, 2016 (investments in debt and debt-related instruments) and Mr Karan Desai since February 2, 2017 (investments in foreign securities).
v) Entry / Exit load
The fund house does not charge any entry load or exit load if ten percent of the investment is redeemed within a year from the date of allotment. If the rest of the investment is redeemed within a year, 1% exit load is applicable. There is no exit load if redeemed after one year.
Tax benefits of investing in L&T Hybrid Equity Fund
The Short-term capital gain tax of 15% is levied if sold before one year from the date of allotment. Long-term capital gains, in excess of Rs 1 lakh, will be taxed at 10% without indexation if redeemed after one year.
