Fund Information and Statistics
i) Inception/Launch Date
The fund scheme was launched on 21 December 2005.
ii) Risk Level
The fund comes with a moderately high risk profile since it invests in multiple assets, such as equity, debt, gold, and gold-related instruments.
iii) Redemption
Since there is no lock-in period for the invested principal, there is no restriction on redemption of fund units. However, you must consider the exit load to cut down on additional deductions.
iv) Fund Manager
Mr. Gaurav Mehta has been managing the fund since February 2019.
v) Entry/Exit Load
Entry load is not charged upon purchase of mutual fund units. An exit load of 1% is charged for redemption/switch out of fund units in excess of 10% of the initial investment amount within 12 months from the date of allotment. Upon completing 12 months, no exit load is charged.

SBI Mutual Fund was incorporated as an asset management company on 7 February 1992. The fund house is sponsored by State Bank of India (SBI) and the trustee company for the fund house is SBI Mutual Fund Trustee Company Private Limited. The average assets under management (AAUM) for the fund house is Rs.4,21,362.45 crore as of 30 September 2020.
