The Ayushman Card can be downloaded online through the PMJAY beneficiary portal, Ayushman App, UMANG app, ABHA portal or offline through Common Service Centres (CSCs) and empanelled hospitals. Eligible beneficiaries can download the digitally verified Ayushman Bharat PMJAY card using mobile number, Aadhaar number, ABHA number or Family ID after completing e-KYC verification.

Note: The digital Ayushman Card PDF is valid at empanelled hospitals. Beneficiaries can show the PDF directly from mobile devices or keep a printed copy as backup.
Eligible beneficiaries can download the Ayushman Card online through the NHA-PMJAY Beneficiary portal after completing Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification.
Step 1: Visit the official PMJAY beneficiary portal.
Step 2: Log in using the registered mobile number and OTP.
Step 3: Select the state, district, and search method.
Step 4: Search using Aadhaar number, Family ID, mobile number, or PMJAY ID.
Step 5: Complete e-KYC verification if pending.
Step 6: Click the ‘Download Card’ option against the beneficiary name.
Step 7: Complete Aadhaar OTP authentication and download the Ayushman Card PDF.
Note: If Aadhaar is not linked to a mobile number, biometric authentication through fingerprint or iris scan can be completed at CSC centres or empanelled hospitals.
Follow the steps below to download an Ayushman Card using the Ayushman Bharat app:
Step 1: Install the Ayushman App.
Step 2: Log in using the registered mobile number and OTP.
Step 3: Search beneficiary details using Family ID, Aadhaar number or PMJAY ID.
Step 4: Complete e-KYC verification if required.
Step 5: If Aadhaar mobile OTP is unavailable, biometric verification through fingerprint or iris scan can be completed at CSC centres or empanelled hospitals.
Step 6: Click the ‘Download Card’ option to save the Ayushman Card PDF.
Eligible beneficiaries can also download the Ayushman Card using the UMANG app.
Step 1: Open the UMANG app on Android or iOS devices.
Step 2: Search for ‘PMJAY’ or ‘Ayushman Bharat’ within the app.
Step 3: Log in using the registered mobile number and OTP verification.
Step 4: Open the ‘Download Card’ section and complete Aadhaar OTP authentication.
Step 5: Download and save the Ayushman Card PDF.
Beneficiaries who have linked their Ayushman Bharat details with ABHA can access connected health records and digital health services through the ABHA portal.
Step 1: Visit the official ABHA portal.
Step 2: Log in using ABHA number, Aadhaar number, or registered mobile number.
Step 3: Access the linked health profile and available health card services.
Step 4: Download the available digital health card or linked records.
Note: The ABHA Health ID card is different from the Ayushman PMJAY card used for cashless hospital treatment. To download the PMJAY card, use the PMJAY beneficiary portal, Ayushman App, UMANG app or CSC methods.
Eligible beneficiaries who are unable to access online services can obtain the Ayushman Card through authorised Common Services Centres (CSCs) or empanelled hospitals.
Step 1: Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
Step 2: Request Ayushman Card download and provide Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
Step 3: Complete identity verification and Aadhaar-based authentication.
Step 4: Submit required documents and complete biometric verification if required.
Step 5: After successful verification, the CSC operator will generate and print the Ayushman Card on the spot. Beneficiaries can also request the PDF copy on their registered mobile number.
Step 1: Visit any PMJAY empanelled public or private hospital.
Step 2: Go to the Ayushman Mitra helpdesk available at the hospital.
Step 3: Provide Aadhaar number and registered mobile number for verification.
Step 4: The Ayushman Mitra will verify eligibility and generate the Ayushman Card.
Step 5: The Ayushman Card can be printed or shared digitally after verification.
Note: Beneficiaries can search empanelled hospitals through on the beneficiary portal.
