If you notice any damage during delivery, refuse to accept the cylinder and return it back to the delivery person. If you have already taken delivery of the damaged cylinder, turn off the pressure regulator knob, put out all fires in the kitchen, move it to a safe, well-ventilated outdoor location, and call the emergency number for LPG emergencies in India (1906) or the distributor immediately to arrange a replacement.
