The Tamil Nadu government introduced the Naan Mudhalvan programme in March 2022. It is a dedicated initiative to provide effective and comprehensive guidance to government school students on career development and higher education.
The Tamil Nadu government further launched the Naan Mudhalvan Upskilling Platform to develop skills and provide dynamic information to college students on various courses and industry-specific skills. This programme assists Tamil Nadu students in getting training in their preferred field of interest, which will help them achieve their career objectives.

Once you apply for a course under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme, you can download the hall ticket to sit for the test. On the hall ticket, you will get details of your exam centre, date and other related information.
Under the Naan Mudhalvan scheme, the Tamil Nadu government is helping civil servant aspirants to access better coaching facilities and materials to appear for the UPSC exam. The government announced that they will shortlist 1,000 civil services aspirants each year through this scheme. They will do it by conducting a test and will provide them with Rs. 7,500 per month for 10 months to help them prepare for the UPSC preliminary examination.
