The second day of the GST-regime saw many automobile companies cut down prices on the goods produced and sold after July 1st. Japanese auto dealer Toyota has slashed prices by 13%, while Indian motorcycle company HeroCorp brought down the prices on its two-wheelers by INR 400-4000. Market leader Suzuki’s cars are cheaper by 3%, and others like Hyundai and Tata are expected to follow suit.
