IMPS Timings of SBI Bank

The SBI IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) facility allows you to transfer funds instantly. It is available 24/7. However, some restrictions are there based on the time of day and the amount being transferred.

IMPS Transfer Limits

  • Between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.: You can transfer up to 2,00,000 on any day.
  • Between 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.: The transfer limit is reduced to 40,000.

Beneficiary Addition

  • You can add only one beneficiary per day. If added between 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., the beneficiary will be activated within four hours.
  • If added after 8 p.m., activation will occur after 8 a.m. the following day.

NEFT Timings of SBI Bank

If you make NEFT transactions through online channels, they are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays. However, for branch-based NEFT transactions, the timings vary based on branch hours.
