About Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd has two business segments viz. Fertilisers and other Agri-inputs and Shipping. The company is engaged in manufacture of Urea and Single Super Phosphate (SSP) and markets other Agri-inputs such as Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Muriate of Potash (MOP), insecticides, seeds, micronutrients, etc. The Shipping Division operates ships (Aframax tankers) for transportation of petroleum products. The company has a joint venture in Morocco for manufacturing phosphoric acid. Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd is one of the largest private sector fertilizer producers in India. The Company had seven subsidiaries and a joint venture as on March 31, 2019. Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd was incorporated in the year May 07th, 1985 and was promoted by Zuari Agro Chemicals.
