About Citizen Yarns Ltd

Citizens Yarns Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited company on 3rd May, 1990, and was subsequently converted into a Public Company on 23rd July,1992. It was originally promoted by Mr Hariprasad Khetan, Mr Govindram Khetan and Mr Vijaykumar Todi. The company has been promoted with the object of setting up a textile compalex having facilities for manufacturing and marketing of Cotton Yarn in the range of 4's to 20's, both single-ply and multiply, as well as a variety of derivative products such as industrial threads and fabrics, terry-towelling etc. In 1994 the company had undertaken an expansion programme at Chhatral Dist. Mehsana, Gujarat. With this the installed capacity of the company increased from 1650 MT to 2750 MT per annum.
