Darjeeling Ropeway Company Limited is a public limited company incorporated in October 16, 1936. The company is taken over by new management in 2018 led by Mr. Himanshu Shah with its teammates having experience in the field of Construction in the state of Gujarat. It is engaged into the business of other financial income. The company issued 30,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each amounting to Rs. 3,00,00,000/- on preferential basis to Non- Promoters during the year 2015. The equity shares of Company are listed and admitted to dealings on the BSE Ltd with effect from 28 March 2016. During the period under review 2016-17, the company vide postal ballot got approval from shareholders of the company for shifting of the registered office from State of West Bengal to State of Maharashtra and then filed necessary petition with the requisite authorities for their consent and approval.
